4 Hacks for Boosting Organic Traffic
By Anne Leonard
In a 2016 study conducted by Optimal.com and Wells Fargo, it’s predicted that ad blocking will more than double by 2020. This is why it’s more important now than ever to start working on your methods to boost organic traffic. While paid advertisements can be helpful, they should not be relied upon and instead should be complemented by organic efforts. Here are four hacks for boosting organic traffic.
Hack #1: Use keywords in your social profiles.
The keywords you use in your social profiles affect your rank on social media. On Facebook, for instance, incorporate keywords in both your profile name and the subcategories. As a result, you’ll rank high in search results in Facebook and Google.
Hack #2: Post content specifically for your target audience.
To get the most organic reach from your posts, it’s crucial to know your target audience. Not sure who your target audience is? Utilize the analytics features in social media platforms, like Facebook and Twitter, to find your audience’s highly rated interests. If your audience primarily use mobile devices, you should be ensuring that your content is mobile-friendly.
Hack #3: Encourage others to advocate your brand.
The more you encourage others to advocate for you, the more organic traffic you’ll receive to your site. To do so, you can encourage your followers to share your posts or even ask an influencer in your field if they’d like to participate in a Q&A.
Hack #4: Get personal.
Perhaps one of the best ways to increase organic traffic for your brand is to interact with your audience on a personal level. This of course means everything from responding to comments to answering their questions. In turn, you’ll not only grow more personal relationships with your audience, you’ll gain loyalty among your followers.
